Hearsts Grand Rooms Tour

At the castle, you will be guided to the National Geographic Theater to view “Hearst Castle – Building the Dream” in large screen format before starting the Grand Rooms Tour.

This tour is recommended for first-time visitors. It also has the fewest stairs to climb. Every evening, W. R. Hearst’s guests gathered in the grand social rooms on the ground floor of Casa Grande (his formal name for the main house). Follow their footsteps and experience what it was like to be a guest at The Enchanted Hill—known today as Hearst Castle. At the end of the guided portion of your tour, you will be free to stroll on your own through the gardens and wander at your leisure around the Neptune Pool and the Roman Pool—just as Mr. Hearst’s guests did in the 1920s and 1930s.

After the tour, you will enjoy a gourmet deli lunch at or near the Castle before heading back to your local lodging. Time permitting, we will stop at a local winery (Tasting fees not included) or do some shopping in downtown Cambria. This is our Hearst Castle Adventure along the San Luis Obispo Coast (allow for 5 to 9 hours for this tour depending on departure/return location). Please wear comfortable clothing and light layers.

Wrangler Adventure Tour

Tour Paso Robles
Tour San Luis Obispo

With over 300 wineries throughout Paso Robles, it's no wonder it was named "2013 Wine Region of the Year". Paso Robles lives up to its reputation!

Our Level 2 Adventure Tour is a social tour and our most popular. You can expect to meet other wine enthusiasts and get to know them over the course of the day. You'll spend the day with a small group and visit between 4-6 wineries. You, and the other participants on your tour will discuss various options with your guide and craft an itinerary of wineries to visit. We are very fond of smaller wineries, those that are family-owned, historic, off the beaten path, but there are no strict rules. We do try to avoid taking you to places you have already visited (unless you want to go back). Your guide will point out landmarks and wineries along the way, tell stories and talk about the local history and, of course, wine making, as well as sharing with you our local culture.
