Enjoy the charming Morro Bay Lighted Boat Parade along the Embarcadero starting from Tidelands Park to the end of the Bay in beautiful Morro Bay.
Stay the night at 456 Embarcadero Inn and Suites and secure a spot along the waterfront to watch a procession of beautifully decorated and lighted skiffs, yachts, fishing boats, cutters, and sailboats (limited availability). Tree Lighting from 5-6 p.m. and Boat Parade begins at 6pm p.m on December 2, 2017.

Waterfront restaurants are sponsoring lighted boats to cruise the waterfront for a fun filled dining experience. Book your dinner reservation NOW to have a front-row seat at this lighted boat cruise.
Sat., Dec. 2 - Holiday Tree Lightings 5:00pm - 6:00pm
A simultaneous lighting of MANY Holiday Trees around the City of Morro Bay. City Park, Downtown, T-Pier, Anchor Park & other various locations around town
Sat., Dec. 2 - Lighted Boat Parade at the Waterfront 6:00pm
40+ decorated boats will compete and parade in the bay. $1000 worth of cash prizes will be awarded to winners. Tall ship Lady Washington will be participating in the parade
as well. Santa’s House will be open, hot cocoa avail, and White Cap Band to perform.
Sun., Dec. 3rd, Non-Motorized Paddle Parade at Tidelands Park 1:00pm.
Join the fun as our non-motorized vessels will get a chance to parade. Bring your own paddleboard, kayak or non-motorized vessel,or rent to participate. $1000 worth of cash prizes will be awarded to the best décor and costumes.
On land, we will have a paper boat building and testing, along with other family-friendly activities.
Mon. - Thurs., Dec. 4 - Dec. 7 - Tall Ships in the Harbor
Tall ship Hawaiian Chieftain will join Lady Washington in the bay for free tours and weekend adventure sails.
Fri., Dec. 8, Santa Crawl 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Don’t miss out on our first annual holiday wine/pub crawl. An adult scavenger hunt! One wine tasting station will be placed at each participating establishment. Get your passport stamped from each destination for a chance to win grand prizes. Staging areas are at Stax Wine Bar, downtown & Santa’s house. Shuttle runs in between. Participants required to dress as a Santa or an Elf.
Sat., Dec. 9, Tall Ships Battle Sail Live Show 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Enjoy a re-enactment pirate-like battle sail between Hawaiian Chieftain and Lady Washington. To purchase tickets CLICK HERE.
Sat., Dec. 9, Gingerbread House Competition at the Inn at Morro Bay 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Contestants will display their gingerbread houses. Judges and people choice awards will be given out. There will also be a caroling concert and sing along.
Sun., Dec. 10, REAL SNOW! Tidelands Park 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Come out to enjoy REAL SNOW on the bay! We will have 2 snow play areas, one on a slope for the older children and a small flat one for under 4. We will also hold an Elf On The Self creativity contest and have cookie decorating and vendors for this family event.
Mon. - Wed., Dec.11 - 13, Caroling with Cops
Join our brave police force each evening in singing and
fun as they ride through the town spreading holiday cheer.
Tues., Dec.12, Goodbye to Santa 6:00pm - 6:30pm
Santa will board a boat and wave goodbye. When the boat is behind the rock, a flare will be shot to make it look like Santa has flashed to the North Pole.
