San Luis Obispo Farmers Market Every Thursday Night!
BARBECUED RIBS, FRESH PRODUCE, LOCALLY MADE PRODUCTS, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT…
Farmers held every Thursday night, Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market brings the community together to shop for fresh produce, sample San Luis Obispo’s delectable and varied cuisine, browse local shops, listen to live music and interact with local entertainers. Keep your eyes open for the six-foot bear giving hugs and paw shakes – that’s our Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market mascot, Downtown Brown.
Recognized as a leader of such activities in California, Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market is held on five downtown blocks of Higuera Street – between Osos and Nipomo streets. The area is closed to vehicles to make room for this bustling event. Please remember that City Ordinance prohibits smoking as well as non-service animals from attending this event, so please leave your pets at home.
Morro Bay Farmers Market EveryThursday and Saturday!
The Morro Bay Farmers Market happens on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Thursday 2:30pm - 5pm: The mid-week affair is in the large parking lot at locally owned Spencer's Fresh Markets, easy to find because it's right across the street from Highway One. Many of these vendors, who include organic farmers, a hummus company and students from Cal Poly, move to the nighttime market in downtown San Luis Obispo a few hours later. Saturday 2:30pm - 5pm: This market is on Main and Harbor Streets, and besides regular market fare, has local coffee from Top Dog, homemade tamales and authentic kettle corn.
